An intense flavoursome fine Chardonnay. I’d give it higher score but the acid is softer than expected and the alcohol a little noticeable. Less restrained, lacks the austerity of Ashton Hills.

Svelte wine. A little bit creamy, a little bit sweet, a little bit bittter, finely judged oak. Everything balanced. Slightly lacking in character, but perhaps that will emerge with a bit more age.
